Hello Save Your Idiotic Act
I THOUGHT it would be nice taking a month leave from politics and let others pen whatever is right for them. However, the four-week duration was full of tit-for-tat among politicians and social media players about the many unpleasant happenings around, notably Umno and the Perikatan Nasional government.
First, the call by some Umno grassroots leaders for Umno President Zahid Hamidi to step down. Although it involves only a few, it somehow has impacted the party. At first, I wanted to comment an article in the New Straits Times earlier this week (written by a USIM lecturer) but decided to leave it alone. Why? Because I don't deal with half-past-six analysis. Moreover, I hate arguing with stupid people!
Let me straighten this. Those who call for Zahid resignation are 'assholes' to one party in PN. As to whether they are Umno ministers, division or Youth leaders, they are more of sour grapes. Maybe I can understand their frustration but I am more flabbergasted with the fact that how easy and gullible they are to offers made by Bersatu leaders.
Why do they want Zahid out? This is interesting to note. Apart from money and other offerings, they want to make success a 'black ops' to wipe out Umno from local political scene. Names like Annuar Musa, Hishammuddin Hussein, Azmin Ali and Hamzah Zainuddin are linked to a Bersatu grand Knesset-liked agenda to make Umno an insert to PN, or not at all. It's akin to a pullout of a major newspaper.
They will rule. I dunno if Azmin and Hamzah will like it. I read it somewhere that Annuar might replace Muhyiddin Yassin as the premier. I dont know how far its true but at the same time believe it is not going to work.
These Umno members wouldn't have resorted to the uncalled manner had Zahid is the prime minister or a deputy. They will come to him on their knee asking for assistance and favor, and being chummy to him at its best.
Hello! Let me tell you assholes. Umno could have become a defunct party under someone else. It was Zahid who defended Umno from being gulped up by Bersatu and de-registered. It was Dr Mahathir who asked Zahid to close down Umno and all its members joining Bersatu.
It was Zahid who mooted Muafakat Nasional with Hadi Awang of Pas in September 2019. (Hadi was quoted recently by saying more Umno leaders were keen to join Bersatu. Did he.... I am waiting for him to reiterate that).
IT WAS ZAHID WHO OPENED UP THE PASSAGE FOR MUHYIDDIN TO BECOME PM! Bersatu gotta bear that in mind. Try step into his shoe and you will find how torrid it is for him to manage Umno as being the only President without a Cabinet portfolio! If you have anything else to say about him, FO!
Weird, right? It's no longer 'winner takes all, loser standing small'. Its the winner who is being pressured to go while the loser is helping the smearing campaign. You know who!
Another development is also interesting. That a senior aid to Annuar getting funds from the PMO is really unveiling. I don't know how true it is but it demonstrated how Zahid is faced with such a mutiny in Umno.
Secondly, this 'stepping into my shoe' thing. If I were Muhyiddin, I would have done the same thing and get unpopular by declaring state of emergency. Why? Of course there are 79 other nations imposing emergency to combat Covid-19 but all of them are MAJORITY GOVERNMENT.
Tell me which country is ruled by the minority?
The Movement Control Order (MCO) like the one we imposed in March 2020 was good enough in bringing down the number of infection. Why do we need a 'darurat'? Non other than to secure his position as the prime minister.
How many does he has now? 112? Naaahhh... 109? 108? 107? Simple majority is gone. Why did he clamped the rule on a 'live' televised speech barely three hours before Padang Rengas MP Nazri Aziz told a press conference that he was retracting his support for the PN government? Did you comprehend?
The declaration seems like another attempt to hold on to power, block elections and to remove parliamentary oversight, rather than to seriously address the pandemic. The government will gain wide powers during the emergency.
If Parliament is not in session, the government has the power to make laws, including enacting new ones. The Constitution is more of less suspended as a substantial part of it can be overridden by emergency law.
And thirdly, the 'anus' swab test for Covid. Although it has been proven more effective in China, it is a laughing stock in Malaysia. Are you ready? Who in the Cabinet will volunteer to have it first? The PM himself? There must be evidence of photo or video...
