We get to see how Celaena been trained to hone her power/magic until it turns to be a really powerful magician with help from Rowan and I like their friendship. Rowan is quite a pain in the ass when he starts to train Calaena.He pushes Calaena to the max until she cannot take it anymoreWhen she was attacked by Vlag/Narrok and the flashback to her when she was young.We get to see little Calaena and Dorian first encounter.How she learns that the king is the one who put her and her family into miserable until her parents died (sort of)
Manon's storyline was not that interesting to me at first cause she seems like a person who has no heart until she meets her wyvern, how she trained him, and to the point, she helps her enemy.I do enjoy the interaction between her and her wyvern and when she hunts food just for her wyvernThere is some sort of having a competition to find a Wing LeaderSimilar like Quidditch but with wyvern instead of flying broom and cruelerDorian/Chaol/Aedion just there to make the storyline complete for me. Dorian and Sorscha was just an additional story for me but it becomes interesting towards the end when his father knows about both of them and beheaded Sorscha’s headAt first Chaol spies on Aedion as he wants to know what is his agenda.But we get to see Chaol and Aedion sort of working together in the end.

I love when Aelin confronts Maeve and breaks the blood oath Maeve had with Rowan. She just burnt everything.
