Ideally, a man at such an age should be caring for his grandchildren or enjoying the softer side of life as he journeys through his twilight years. Previously a lorry driver, the uncle now delivers stuff via Grab from 1pm to 12am. He even works during the Hari Raya celebration.
“Even though a motorcycle is not human, he understands our situation. He is my best friend,” he said, adding that the bike has feelings although there was no further elaboration about this cryptic statement.
Although the brief video did not reveal any details about his financial situation, he did mention that he was trying to make ends meet. At 71 years old, a man shouldn’t be exposed to the unforgiving rain and sunshine in a tropical climate.
