Hadi Many Harapan Leaders Are Non Believers Immoral
PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang today reiterates that the Islamist party will not form any partnership with Pakatan Harapan in the next general election, including through the so-called “big tent” approach.
“Harapan is not capable of doing justice to all the people, despite the coalition having component parties that use ‘Keadilan’ (justice) and ‘Amanah’ (responsible) as a name,” he said, referring to PKR and Amanah.
Hadi claimed that Harapan is unable to be fair because many of its leaders are “non-believers and immoral”.
According to the Marang MP, when Harapan contested the 14th general election in 2018, it had openly taken in bribe givers and bribe takers.
“Many in Harapan are non-believers and openly immoral, they take in those who are corrupt.
“Most of those who committed party hopping did not do it because of principle, but because they were after all the lies and empty promises (which are the same as bribes),” he said in his Minda Presiden PAS article today.
‘Anti-Islam, anti-royalty’
Hadi also claimed that Harapan practices the politics of vengeance, where it allegedly made statements publicly that interfered with the country's administration and the judiciary.
“In Harapan, there are among them who are openly anti-Islam, against the royal institution, the Rukun Negara and the Federal Constitution, especially on the status of Islam as the country’s official religion.
“There are also groups of fanatics who hate the Malays and Bumiputera, forgetting that other religions and ethnicities have also enjoyed their rights here,” the PAS leader claimed.
Thus, Hadi stressed that Harapan must be rejected as it poses a bigger political threat to the country.
He claimed that Harapan had caused the relationship between multicultural society in the country to turn sour by always being negative about the country’s values and concept, compared to BN.
Hadi added that Islam, which has always been the basis of PAS’ struggle, stipulates that politics can never be separated from religion, where they believe everything they do will be accountable in the Hereafter.
He said, PAS’ struggle is not only for worldly affairs and thus the party will continue to defend the rights of the Malays, Bumiputera, and Islam, while at the same time respecting the other races.
“PAS is against the ‘Malaysian Malaysia’ theory and racial fanaticism because both concepts are against Islam and human nature.
“PAS stresses that if anyone says that the Malays are racist, then we should chase them out because they do not appreciate what we have done.
“Harapan rallies political parties and NGOs that are openly secular, that they even reject the role of religion in politics,” Hadi said. - Mkini
