Pada April lalu, Lee Kwang Soo mengejutkan seluruh produksi dan peminatnya apabila mengambil keputusan untuk menarik diri daripada Running Man.
Beliau terpaksa bertindak demikian bagi memberi masa untuk pemulihan buku lalinya selepas terlibat dalam kemalangan jalan raya tahun lalu.




Akhirnya Lee Kwang Soo tinggalkan Running Man selepas 11 tahun. 
Sedihnya rasa hati ni bila dengar berita ni. Sejujurnya Lee Kwang Soo dekat di hati para peminat Running Man. Beliau juga digelar Putera Asia oleh peminatnya. 



Karaktornya yang peramah bersama peminat,  murah senyuman, membuatkan peminat mengagumi beliau. 
Aksi lucu Lee Kwang Soo dalam Running Man pastinya akan dirindui.


Dalam episod terakhirnya minggu lepas iaitu episod 559, Lee Kwang Soo beraksi selama 3991 hari di dalam Running Man. 
Episod khasnya, "Goodbye My Special Brother", ternyata membuatkan ramai yang sebak dan menitiskan air mata. 
Termasuklah Cik Rose. Aduhai sedih episod kali ini. Ditambah pula bila melihat Song Ji Hyo. Lagilah Cik Rose beremosi. 

Di penghujung episod, semua ahli Running Man menulis nota / surat untuk Lee Kwang Soo sambil dimainkan lagu yang mereka pilih. 
Ha, inilah kemuncak episod khas Lee Kwang Soo ni. 


Surat Jae Suk buat Kwang Soo
To my beloved dongsaeng, Kwangsoo...it's been 11 years since we started Running Man together. For 11 yeara, although "you've done well' cannot expreas the amount of hard work you've put in, you've suffered a lot and done well. Although in the future, I don't know whose swntences I can interrupt or be piggy-backed by, Sechan adn Sukjin hyung did cross my mind for a second. It eill be empty and hard without you but don't worry about us and do whatever your heart desires. Let's meet often and call me if anything happens. Thank you, Kwangsoo... I wasn't bored because of you. 



Surat Suk Jin buat Kwang Soo
Kwangsoo ah, it's been 11 years since I've known you.. At first, you were just 'long-legged' Kwangsoo. But now, you will forever be my brother for the rest of mylife. Kwangsoo ah, I was happy whenever I did 'feel-Chok Cross' with you.. Although to others, it may not seem like much, I was grateful for every moment and I mean it from the bottom of my heart. Kwangsoo ah, let's see each other for the rest of our lives and walk the rest of our lives together. Even if you aren't filming Running Man anymore, bevause we are family... I love you, Kwangsoo. 



Surat Jong Kook buat Kwang Soo
I don't know what was it that made it enjoyable. I thought that we, would laugh happily even frim meeting each other's eyes, would go on forever without change... More than that, I thought that you would be with us till the end, and makes it even sadder. Although we cannot journey together forever in Running Man, let's make sure to walk the rest of our lives together. Stay healthy..

To my beoved Kwangsoo, hello Kwangsoo, it's me, Donghoon hyung. Because I've seen you every week for 11 yeara, I thought that I woud naturally be seeing you again next week... Because of how hard you tried and how you always gave your best, I'm sure the viewers are also sad and can't bear to see you go... You've worked hard l! Kwangsoo ah who do I tease now.. who will cheat and betray now.. who do I spend the whole night talking to.. I love you.. I oray that no matter where you are, you'll shine brightly as you achiwve you dreams. I love you, our Kwangsoo.. be happy and healthy!

Be it the times where I hated you, was happy, was tired , waa burdened, was overwhelmed, was in a foreign place or when I see something interesting, I am grateful that I spent these 11 years with you... thank you and you've worked hard... Lee Kwang Soo, my dongsaeng, Lee Kwang Soo.. I love you.

Kwangsoo ah, it's noona. Like what I said earlier, everything still does't feel real to me amd since I had to write the first letter in a rush, I couldn't write a long one to you. Honestly, the fact that you won't be here next week and that I can't see yourbfave and hear your voice still doesn't feel real to noona. Thinking about it, to have 11 years of memories flashing through my mind like a film makes me sad, reluctant to let go and so much more that I cannot describe. Thank you for being with me at every moment through the blissful, sad, tiring and happy times for these 11 years. And, you've worked hard. Although on days where I suddenly remember the fact that you won't be where you used to be and I see myself feeling down and feel like breaking down.. I'll make sure to carry on just like I am now. Come whenever you miss us, I love you, Kwangsoo ah. 



Surat So Min buat Kwang Soo
Kwangsoo oppa, althought time spent with you was both long yet short. I'm grateful for the bond we have formed. Thank you for gifting me with prexious memories that I'll never forget... I'll pray for every step you take. I'll be right here! Come and play with us on Running Man anytime! We'll be waiting for you!


Surat Se Chan buat Kwang Soo
Kwangsoo hyung,  you've worked hard for these 11 years. I was happy during the 4 years I've spent with youm We would always talk a lot after shooting, but now we can't... I'll miss these times a lot. I'll always miss you and feel empty whenever I think of you... From now on, do whatever you want in a world without punishments....


8 ahli Running Man ~ tinggal kenangan. 


Banyak scene yang menyentuh hati dalam episod terakhir Lee Kwang Soo ini antaranya ialah ketika dia meminta maaf.



11 tahun bersama, tetapi akhirnya Kwang Soo buat keputusan undurkan diri  atas faktor kesihatan diri.
