Generous Influencer Sultan Cina Spreads Ramadan Joy By Surprising Bazaar Trader With Sporty Bike
THERE’S an adage that goes, “Never look a gift horse in the mouth.”
It means to never criticise a gift when presented to you unexpectedly. Just be grateful and rejoice in your good fortune.
This was precisely what a trader at a Ramadan bazaar did when he was surprised by popular social media influencer, Sam Lim a.k.a. Sultan Cina, with a gift of a brand-new motorcycle.
Lim who has a habit of gifting his followers with lavish pressies did remark that although the Made-in-China Voge FR150 (retailed at RM8,888) was more of a “Type C taste”, it would also do for the lucky “Type M” trader.

Unable to believe his good fortune, the trader was all smiles as he gratefully accepted the keys to his new ride, loudly hailing the “Sultan Cina”.
For his troubles, Lim got a couple packets of extra grub from the grateful trader.
The video which was originally uploaded on Lim’s TikTok account (@samlimmm) was shared on X by digital creator Cikgu_Anep (@Cikgu-Anep).
The latter stated that such positive content was preferable to “much of the nonsense found on social media” plus Lim had the bonus of actually doing a good deed.
Cikgu_Anep added that good fortune rarely goes to the wrong address, pointing to the humble trader who got a nice surprise whilst he was doing business.
Many netizens applauded the simple act of generosity which brought about plenty of smiles and platitudes from netizens.

One even asked if there were Type M equivalents as the self-proclaimed “Sultan Cina”, subtly hinting that all the race-baiting of late was misplaced.
Very broadly, this video highlights that both Type M and Type C could be friends or at the very least follow each other’s social media accounts.

One who was still in a state of disbelief even wondered if the bike was legally registered in the trader’s name.

Of course, sceptics were disbelieving as more than one found it hard to believe that a person would just hand over keys to a brand-new bike just like that. One reckoned that this was all just ‘content creation’, insinuating it was not real.

Another retorted that the envious just could not bear to see others happy or enjoy their good fortune.

Amid all the toxic rhetoric on local social media landscape, it is wonderful to see ordinary Malaysians just getting on with life and being nice to each other regardless of race.
