Family Of Thieves Caught Stealing Something As Measly As A Donation Box

THERE is no honour among thieves. That is unless you happen to be Robin Hood, robbing from the rich and giving back to the poor.
But even a dishonorable scoundrel can point out that if you want to commit a crime, it better be worth the risk.
Take it from a recent video post on X by netizen @update11111 which showed a family stealing a donation box at the counter.
Yes, you read it right. A donation box. These boxes usually hold coins and small notes, contributed by good-hearted samaritans who decided that it was better to donate their change than keeping it.
In total, the money within these boxes may contain about RM50 or RM100 in total. And for such a small sum, the thieves had their faces exposed by the CCTV camera that was conveniently hanging there nearby.
Netizen @jaszazran who watched the video commented on how cool the family was, teaching their children to commit crime. Echoing his opinion was @stgiles08, stating how they could actually bring their kids along to steal.

Any thief worth his salt can point out that this is not worth it. Perhaps these amateur thieves should take some pointers from the professionals who stole eight pieces of the French crown jewels from the Louvre Museum in Paris valued at around $100 mil.
Now that is what we call a robbery. But more importantly, we would like to point out that although stealing a donation box is laughable, it is still wrong. Hopefully these amateurs will learn the true essence behind the statement that crime doesn’t pay.
And with their identities revealed, this shouldn’t be a problem. — Focus Malaysia
