Eleven Masked Men Break Into Puchong Home Two Seriously Injured

Two men sustained serious injuries when 11 masked men broke into their house in Batu 14, Puchong, on Saturday.KUALA LUMPUR: Two men sustained serious injuries when 11 masked men broke into their house in Batu 14, Puchong, on Saturday.
Subang Jaya deputy police chief Mohd Fairus Jaafar, in a statement, said the two victims sustained cuts to their shoulders and suffered serious injuries, including slashes to their bodies, legs, hands, and several other parts of their bodies. Both of them are being treated at Serdang Hospital and are in stable condition.
He said the police received a call from MERS 999 regarding a break-in incident at a house in Jalan Bunga Melur, Batu 14, Puchong.
"The suspects, estimated to be 11 men wearing masks and carrying several 'parang', arrived in three vehicles and opened the gate and the unlocked door of the house. They then attacked the victims, namely two Indian men aged between 31 and 38 years old, who were in the living room and continued to slash the victims several times using the 'parang'. They then fled the scene using the three vehicles," he said.
Fairus added that investigations found that the suspects, who were wearing masks and armed with six-inch 'parang', had entered the house through the unlocked front door.
"The investigations are still ongoing to identify other suspects involved and the motive for the incident."
He said the police arrested six local men aged between 23 and 28 years old and seized a 'parang' to assist in the investigation into the case yesterday at 8pm.
"All of the suspects arrested have criminal records and past narcotics records. They have been remanded for three days starting today to January 29 for further investigation. The case is being investigated under Sections 394 and 326 of the Penal Code, which is intentionally causing injury during robbery and injury for using a weapon.
"The public who have information regarding this incident can channel the information to the police via 03-78627222 (Subang Jaya District Control Centre) or the investigating officer, Assistant Superintendent of Police Khairulazizi Ismail, at 019-2817820." NST
