Mca Should Reflect On Where Its Two Seats Are Akmal Shoots Back
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh has reminded MCA that the latter is only in Parliament due to Malay support.
This is after an MCA vice-president advised Akmal to reflect on why non-Malays deeply disliked him.
"Try to reflect, the two seats you won are what kind of constituencies. In case you forget, I'm reminding you," he said in a Facebook post last night.
While he did not spell it out, both Ayer Hitam and Tanjung Piai are mixed constituencies but with Malay voter demographics higher than 50 percent each.
In Ayer Hitam - MCA president Wee Ka Siong's seat - around 56 percent of voters during the last general election were reportedly Malay.

One of those postings was translated as referring to Akmal as a "crazy Malay".
Law, however, clarified that "癫马" was a common phrase on social media that meant - "Akmal who always acts irrationally".
Defending race and religion
MCA vice-president Tan Teik Cheng implied that Akmal is referred to as such because he always hurts the feelings of the non-Malays.

"We defend our faith and race not because we want people to like us, but because it is our responsibility to defend the sanctity of our religion and race.
"If you touch and belittle (our race and religion) we will fight you to the end regardless of which party you are in," he added. - Mkini
