Eaic Reveals New Logo Reaffirms Commitment To Reforms
The Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) has undergone a rebranding exercise, introducing a new logo to symbolise its commitment to reform and strengthening its role as an independent oversight body.
In a statement, the agency said the new logo features “tiger eye and claws”, symbolising sharpness and vigilance in monitoring misconduct.
The new design also reflects the commission’s commitment to leading continuous and effective reforms in enforcement agency integrity.
“This includes the establishment of a Special Task Force to investigate high-profile and public interest cases such as the illegal disposal of e-waste and abuse of power in the issuance of medical visas, as well as studies to identify preventive measures against deaths in custody.
ADS“Other efforts include strengthening the standard operating procedures (SOP) for investigations and introducing a ‘traffic light’ mechanism to monitor investigation progress, which has boosted the complaint resolution rate to 99 percent,” said EAIC.
“In addition, we have conducted effectiveness studies on supervised enforcement agencies, participated in operations, and held on-the-ground consultations with stakeholders to understand grassroots issues and develop high-impact improvement recommendations.
“EAIC also consistently releases investigation reports to the public for cases it probes, in line with Section 30(5) of Act 700,” the agency said.
EAIC chairperson Ismail Bakar said the changes were not merely a visual rebrand but a strategic step towards strengthening the commission’s oversight functions in a more focused and responsive manner.

EAIC chairperson Ismail Bakar“Institutional reform requires the courage to change, and EAIC has chosen to move forward decisively and with a strong sense of responsibility towards the public trust,” said Ismail.
“The rollout of the new identity will be done in phases, starting with digital platforms and official documents, followed by updates to printed materials and physical signage,” he added.
The rebranding is expected to better convey the commission’s mission to lead enforcement agency integrity reforms, focusing on improving processes, enhancing transparency, and continuously building public trust. - Mkini
