Dr Bio Trada Join Forces To Promote Natural Preventive Healthcare Among Dayak Community

NATIVE-oriented NGO Pertubuhan Transformasi Dayak (TRADA) has sealed a collaborative agreement with Dr Bio Healthcare & Wellness Centre which is part of Sutra Holistik (M) PLT, to promote natural preventive healthcare and comparative medicine among the Dayak community – particularly, youth – throughout Malaysia.
This is in support of the Health Ministry’s (MPH) call to curb the rise of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and prevent future healthcare cost escalation.
Marking the beginning of this collaboration, a hands-on workshop involving 30 TRADA members was conducted recently in Petaling Jaya.
The session was led by Dr Bio’s chief medical officer Dr M. Jayakumar who drew on his international expertise in precision medicine to share practical knowledge on early prevention, lifestyle management and natural therapeutic support.
“Our goal is simple yet urgent – to empower communities to take charge of their health before disease takes hold,” enthused Dr Bio’s CEO Raymond C.M. Leong.
“By introducing natural preventive solutions and wellness knowledge, we’re helping the Dayak community build a healthier future while supporting the government’s efforts to reduce escalating healthcare expenditure.”

“Dayak youth represent the future of our community. We want them to grow strong – physically, mentally and spiritually,” he envisages.
“Henceforth, this partnership allows us to preserve our cultural belief in natural healing while gaining access to modern, evidence-based wellness approaches.”
During the workshop, participants received guidance on holistic lifestyle approaches and were introduced to non-invasive therapies available at Dr Bio facilities – including Enhanced External Counterpulsation (EECP), Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF) which support heart health, metabolic function, circulation and overall recovery.
“Lifestyle-related diseases are preventable. Education is the first medicine,” noted Dr Jayakumar. “We’re committed to walking alongside communities – not only treating illness but fostering vibrant health before symptoms ever appear.”
Moving forward, the Dr Bio-TRADA collaboration will continue to roll out initiatives designed to improve access to preventive healthcare education and services for Dayak communities nationwide.
Future phases include health leadership programmes, community wellness screenings and expanded engagement activities that incorporate Sarawak’s cultural values and traditional knowledge. – Focus Malaysia
