My comments :  It appears that Malanjun is quite the mala'un.

Anyway FMT is being quite docile in reporting this most explosive revelation by the good judge Justice Hamid Sultan Abu Backer.  

Here is Malaysiakini's version of this news, hitting closer to home about what has been really going on inside the judiciary.






In a shocking allegation, Court of Appeal Judge Hamid Sultan Abu Backer has claimed that certain members of the judiciary have been aiding private parties to defraud public funds.

He mentioned this in an affidavit filed today supporting lawyer Sangeet Kaur Deo's application to declare that the chief justice failed to defend the integrity and credibility of the judiciary over two alleged incidences of judicial interference.

Hamid claimed the act of defrauding was done through nominees of politicians creating contracts with the government.


Once the government reneges on the contract, he alleged, the private parties would take the government to court in order to claim compensation.
"I will give an example. The government will enter into a contract with a political nominee with no intention of honouring it.
"Subsequently, the government will terminate the contract and the nominee will sue the government for breach of contract.
"The government may record a consent judgment accepting liability and agreeing to assess damages.
"This modus operandi was going on directly to deprive the exchequer by false claims," he claimed.
Hamid, who is still a sitting judge, repeatedly stressed the need for a Royal Commission of Inquiry (RCI) to look into this matter...



My comments : Long ago I have written about this defrauding the government through dubious and unworkable development projects. I came to realise this during the time of Slumberjack where Slumberjack had the habit of paying out hundreds of millions of Ringgit  as compensation for projects that had been cancelled.

A good example was that crooked bridge project.  The contractor was awarded hundreds of millions in compensation after the project was cancelled.

There were a few other cases where the modus operandi was similar - some crooks would propose ridiculous, unworkable or unpopular projects. The government would approve these stupid projects which would later (quite predictable) fail or could not be carried out. Then the crooks behind the project would claim compensation and be awarded the compensation by these conniving and scheming judges that Justice Hamid Sultan Abu Backer is talking about.


The judiciary was obviously corrupted. 
The judges had been bought.

Now here is the real scenario folks.

Last year the brave judge Hamid Sultan Abu Backer had revealed that he had been publicly chided by a senior judge (in front of other judges) for his (Hamid Sultan's) dissenting judgement over that Indira Gandhi case.

(By the way Tan Sri IGP, the Police still cannot find Indira Gandhi's father who disappeared with the child? Osama bin Laden has been found. Even the Titanic has been found. Takkan Police  still cannot find this guy? And Pastor Koh's abductors. Or Amri Che Mat's abductors?)

Chief Justice Malanjun has said there is nothing to investigate since that recalcitrant judge has already retired.

Wah !! Like that one ah?

You mean there is a very special 'Statute of Limitations' for judges? 

Once they retire they cannot be held accountable for their wrong doings?

So Chief Justice Malanjun, are you saying that corrupt judges who were paid money by these crooks that Justice Hamid Sultan is talking about ALSO WILL NOT BE INVESTIGATED if any of them have retired?

BANYAK CANTIK LAH. 

Help crooks steal money and then wait for retirement. Or retire and no more action will be taken against you. 

How come the rest of us Malaysians do not enjoy these very, very special priviliges?

If a Civil Servant steals, does something wrong, is involved in some misbehaviour etc - he or she is liable EVEN after retirement. Retirement does not protect you from being held liable for your wrong doings.

What kind of Chief Justice are you?

But this is the situation in the country. Nothing happens. 

Deputy Minister's fake degree case. Nothing will happen.IGP and 17 senior cops' junkie trip to Turkey. Nothing will happen.Judge Hamid Sultan's earth shaking affidavit on corrupt judges. Nothing will happen.Parti Ajaran Syaitan took RM93 million (RM90 million from Moron and RM3 million from donations from ahli parti yang bodoh bangang). Nothing will happen.
