In conjunction with the 62nd Independence Day Celebration, the Grand BlueWave Hotel Shah Alam (GBWHSA) will be promoting the Independent Food Promotion (August) for the entire month of RM62.00 + Free Hi Tea Promotion, 1 KG RM62.00 Vibrant Rainbow Cake Promotion + and Independent Set for 2 people RM62.00 +


The focus for the promotion of Independence Month is Hi Tea Independence Month for RM62.00 +. The promotion is available on Saturdays and Sundays throughout August from 12 noon to 4:00 pm with different menus on Saturdays and Sundays



The appetisers offered to guests include a variety of vegetables and salads such as Vegetable Crudités with Green Pea Dip, Sliced Smoked Salmon Platter, Cold Steamed Chicken with Marinated Cucumber Thai Style, Turkey Ham Vegetable Salad with Corn Chips, Quinoa Salad with Cherry Tomato, and more





During this month's Hi Tea Independence Day, guests can enjoy a wide selection of Malay, Indian, Chinese and Western dishes prepared by our experienced chefs. Fans of Malay and Indian cuisine can try dishes such as Lamb with Red Chillies, Steamed Jasmine Rice, Green Lamb Curry with Eggplant, Roti Naan, Madrashah Curry Chicken with Coconut Milk and Dhal Vegetable Curry with Crispy Chips. Moreover, diners get to indulge in a spread of Chinese cuisine such as Chinese Fried Rice, Squid Dry Chillies, Sweet Sour Fish with Pineapple, Fried Squid in Sweet Sour Sauce and Seasonal Green Vegetable with Herbs


While those who love Western cuisine, guests can try the Roasted Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce, Sauteed Garden Vegetables in Light Herb Butter, Foot Long Sausage, Roast Pumpkin, Rolled Beef Sliced Filled with Force Meat Roasted in Creamy Mushroom Sauce, Chicken Schnitzel with Lime and Tatar Sauce and Lemon Crumb Fish Fillet with Sticky Tomato Dip. 


The buffet also has a show kitchen booth which offers Chicken Satay, Malaysia savoury Kuih such as Pisang Goreng, Cucur Udang, Cucur Ikan Bilis and Keropok Lekor. Diners can also find pizza, burger and hot dog in the show kitchen. At live stalls, diners can choose to have Chicken Rice, Nasi Lemak Pandan, 5 types of Noodles, Pasta, and Japanese dishes such as different types of tempura and sushi. Guests are also encouraged to try our ABC at our live stall



Also, the hi tea session would not be complete without a variety of desserts and pastries. Of course, during this Free Hi Tea Month, visitors will be able to taste a variety of desserts and pastries such as Danish pastries, donuts, cakes such as American Baked Cheese Cake, Chocolate Devil Cake, Mousse Cake, Praline Cheese Cake, Tiramisu, Pudding, Waffle and pancakes. Other options include salads and fruits


To further celebrate the 62nd Anniversary of Malaysia's independence, GBWHSA is also offering a 1 KG Vibrant Rainbow cake promotion for RM62.00 + limited to 20 cakes daily from August 1 to August 31, 2019. In order to receive this cake promotion, customers must make cake orders and payments 3 days before the date of pick up via our telecommunications officer


One of our 'must try' promotions for this month of Independence is 2 Independent Set. This set includes Ikan Siakap Asam Pedas, Spicy Fried Chicken, Kailan Ikan Masin and White Rice which are perfect for lunch. The price for this promotion is RM62.00 + for 2 people
