Cap Ayam Prosecution
WHAT a farce!
The 34th prosecution witness in Zahid Hamidi's trial defied all odds by confessing that the charges against the accused were deliberate slanders, thus turning around the prosecutors bench as clowns at the Kuala Lumpur High Court.
Ben Ben who is the financial adviser to Datasonic Sdn Bhd (DTSB) and corporate adviser of Saranakencana Sdn Bhd (SKSB) said the two charges that Zahid had received bribes in the form of two cheques amounting RM1 million and RM5 million from him were also fabricated lies and mere slanders.
As one of the prosecution witness told then court which was presided by Collin Lawrence Sequerah this morning that the donation was for charity through Lewis & Co as the trustholder for Yayasan Akalbudi.
Now, as I am not defending Zahid or the Foundation, I just want to label the prosecution team as 'cap ayam'.
To me, the charges against Zahid are politically motivated by the government, and AG Tommy Thomas and the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission as the 'Benny Hills' and 'Mr Bean' that only carried out their duty blindly.
When a prosecution witness turns his back on them, they are made to eat humble pie, there's no doubt about it. They make themselves look stupid and novice. In other words, they are not fit for the case and should go back to school.
No need for me to write any further because they will not like it, of course.
However, I just wanna say that in their 'Rule of Law', witness can bought' and 'evidence can be created'. Somehow or rather, they succumbed to their own orchestrated episode.
Let's follow the proceeding as I believe more irregularities will surface. Some jokers will join them too...
