Back in March Rosli Dahlan, ‘PM8’s’ personal libel lawyer and 1MDB’s newly appointed legal negotiator, who had accompanied the Agong to Abu Dhabi, told foreign journalists to expect an imminent announcement of a $1 billion settlement to Malaysia from IPIC.
The sum is relative peanuts compared to the numbers missing and the original claim by 1MDB and does not even cover the contested repayments that have already made under Najib’s fraudulent arbitration.

In fact, the London court case is still ongoing, and the hearing was held just this week — 9th to 11th June. Sarawak Report tak tahu pun! Malaysia was represented by Toby Landau QC, Abu Dhabi by Laurence Rabinowitz QC, and the Judge was Justice Andrew Baker. So, the “tossing the London case the PN appointed Attorney” allegation by Sarawak Report tak betul.
The truth is, it was Pakatan Harapan’s Attorney-General, Tommy Thomas, who “tossed the case”(to quote Sarawak Report), not Perikatan Nasional’s Attorney-General, as alleged by Sarawak Report. Fitnah tak habis-habis Sarawak Report ni!

Clare Rewcastle Brown orang kuat Tun Dr Mahathir Furthermore, it was Najib Tun Razak and not the Perikatan Nasional government who agreed on a “backdoor settlement” with Abu Dhabi — resulting in Malaysia having to pay US$3.5 billion for various bonds that were diverted by Jho Low, Khadem Al-Qubaisi and Mohamed Badawy Al Husseiny.
And is Pakatan Harapan not entering into a deal with Najib and Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to form a new “unity government” if they can oust PM Muhyiddin Yassin and the Perikatan Nasional government? If Sarawak Report is so concerned about what is happening in Malaysia, and if Sarawak Report is so concerned about 1MDB, why is Sarawak Report not opposing the Pakatan Harapan-Umno political alliance?
Auta saja! Talk so much as if they are so concerned about Malaysia and 1MDB. And then go and do backdoor deals with the same people they are accusing of stealing 1MDB’s money. Wayang apa ni?
