All Landslide Victims In Kampung Raja Found Sar Called Off

Following this, district police chief Deputy Superintendent Azri Ramli announced that the search and rescue (SAR) operation, which began at 3 am, had ended tonight.
"The bodies of the two victims were found respectively at the search location of Zone D and Zone C with a distance of about 30 meters from the location where the other victims were found.
He said the bodies of all the victims who were Myanmar nationals and holders of United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) cards were sent to the Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom Hospital here for a post-mortem and identity verification process.
The identities of two bodies found in the SAR operation yesterday were identified as Law Ha Phey, 36, and Ki Shing Om, 48, at 5.40am and 12.05pm respectively, yesterday.
Meanwhile, the third victim who was found at about 12.15pm was a male victim, identified as Thang Moung, 25.
Azri said that the identity of all the victims would be confirmed by the Forensics Department and authorities have notified the Myanmar embassy in Malaysia for follow-up action.
He said the operation also became easier once heavy machinery was deployed, which began today after successfully entering through a fresh alternate path. - NST
