Yummy Rojak Mee
The term Pasembur is mostly found in the north of Peninsula Malaysia. In other parts of Peninsula Malaysia, we called Pasembur : Rojak Mamak or just Rojak.
Pasembur is in Urdu as the Pakistanis first sold it in Penang while the Malays from Southern Peninsula Malaysia copied it and named it Rojak.
Rojak itself means mixed ingredients. Beside Rojak Mamak, there’s another type of rojak called Fruits Rojak which is usually a mix of a variety of sliced fruits and vegetables like pineapple, green papaya, jicama, cucumber, and mixed with tofu, prawn crackers, prawn paste, sesame seeds and powdered peanuts. This is also called Rojak
