Two Condos In Genting Highlands Put Under Emco
The government has placed two condominiums in Genting Highlands under enhanced movement control order (MCO).
The condominiums affected were Amber Court Apartment and Ria Apartment.
Also locked down was a rumah kongsi (informal workers' housing) in Kampung Semaut, Bentong, Pahang.
This came after 55 cases of Covid-19 were recorded in the three localities, between Dec 6 and Dec 8.

An Amber Court resident told China Press they saw "hundreds" of migrant workers being fetched by trucks and taken away from the condominium, after being tested for Covid-19 last weekend.
Security personnel have controlled movement at Ria Apartment and Kayangan apartment since Dec 7, the daily reported.
Meanwhile, Ismail also announced that the enhanced MCO at Taman Telipok Ria, Tuaran in Sabah will be extended until Dec 12.
The enhanced MCO for housing areas in Sungai Seluang subdistrict in Kulim, Kedah was also extended to Dec 24.
However, one housing area, Taman Sawi, has been opened up after no further positive cases were detected. It will now be under the conditional MCO.
