Thief Steals Wallet With Rm30 But At What Cost
IF YOU want to do something, either do it properly, or don’t do it at all. In a video post on X, a pitiful thief could be seen stealing the wallet of a cashier in the stall, not realising that it only contained RM30
And the price of his action? His identity is known to all since he was caught in the act by the CCTV camera, which likely means an arrest and some jail time.
Since it is up in cyberspace, the man was bound to become the laughing stock of the online community and for good reasons.
Netizen Cekodok Kepeng said to all the potential thieves out there that it was not worth stealing the wallet of the people who work in such jobs.
“There is no cash. Then you guys become viral like this and get caught and enter the jail in vain. And when we lose our wallet it is tiring as we have to go up and down the police station, and go to JPN to change our identification card,” said Cekodok Kepeng.
Another netizen pointed out that millennials and Gen Z usually do not hold cash as their money is kept in investment instruments, e-wallets or crypto.
However, ZHAN suggested that stealing may be his habit and not something done out of desperation. ZHAN claimed some rich people were stealing too.
Meaqai added, “You can steal as long as you are not caught. Find the rich capitalist instead of those people who are in financial difficulty.”
DON_P4BLO added that he was foolish to be entering jail for a mere RM30.
Then there was netizen . who said, “Uncle, you have been alive for so long. Don’t you know that the CCTV camera exists?”
According to the netizen who posted the video, the incident occurred at GM Klang.
No further information could be derived from it, on whether the perpetrator had been nabbed by authorities or if the wallet was returned to the victim. —Focus Malaysia
