The Pakatan Harapan Has Lost It And Has Lost The Support Of The People
Updated Sunday 8.15 pm at Kuching waterfront - from Star Online 7.30pm: With 20 boxes left to be tallied, Barisan Nasional looks set to win the Semenyih by-election as they now unofficially have a 2,222 majority over Pakatan Harapan.
I actually wrote this (or am writing it) about 5PM on Thursday 28th Feb 2019 - TWO days before the Semenyih By Election on Sat 2nd March. Early Friday morning (tomorrow) we are leaving for a few days on a holiday outside the Peninsula. So as you are reading this we will not be in KL.
Anyway I am writing this on Thursday on the basis that the PH will lose the Semenyih By Election. Either the BN has won (most likely) or the PSM would have won (less likely but who knows). In any case Pakatan would have lost.
I am also predicting that the Pakatan Harapan would have lost Semenyih by more than 2000 votes. In the GE14 on May 9th 2018, I believe the Pakatan won the same Semenyih State seat by over 900 votes - if you tally up all the votes won by all other parties / candidates.
(Its 9pm Thursday now - 28th Feb 2019 - just updating this post. We now live inside the area of the Semenyih State seat and just a few minutes ago we were at the mamak shop to buy dinner. There was a Pakatan Harapan tent set up but with no volunteers, no people, no chairs, no lights, nothing. I have been noticing that the BN / UMNO tents are constantly full of people. So I am quite sure the PH is going to lose Semenyih on Saturday the 2nd MARCH 2019.)
Just recently Pakatan's DAP candidate lost the Cameron Highlands Parliamentary By Election. Despite fielding an Indian candidate in a seat where over 20% Indian voters certainly influenced the outcome, the Indians voted for the BN's Orang Asli candidate.
I do not see any more chances of the Pakatan Harapan, especially Parti Pribumi Bersatu or Amanah winning any more By Elections.
If there is a snap General Election held tomorrow the Pakatan Harapan would not be able to win again. Tun Dr Mahathir would not be Prime Minister again.
Before we go any further the fact that the BN can win Semenyih also proves that large parts of the Malaysian public has an upside down value system.
Large numbers of people in this country just do not seem to have strong principles or good values. I blame this on the education system and the influence of a fake and corrupted religious system.
(To digress - not bragging but yes I have become Enemy of the State again. As you are all aware I have begun criticising Pakatan Harapan. Over the manifesto flip flop, the tolls flip flop, the dunggu Cabinet Ministers, the incoherennt policy making, the almost non-existent reforms, not abolishing the BN/UMNO monopolies and oligopolies that are choking economic growth and technical innovation, the non existent education reforms etc. I am no prophet but I do feel that we have to live up to some principles in life. There must be some basic values that we must all uphold. Cannot be bargained. Otherwise its just the jungle all over again. So I cannot blindly support Pakatan Harapan although I am a member of Parti Pribumi Bersatu.)
The fact that both BN / UMNO and PAS still happily exist and people can vote for them shows you that the problems in this country are very serious indeed.
Just a few days ago a number of UKM students had organised a rally of sorts on their campus for Najib. This certainly reflects on the poor mentality and low level thinking of our university students.
Najib, Rosmah, Zahid, Azeez, Ku Nan being charged in court for thievery and corruption involving billions of Ringgit, Hadi Awang being ridiculed in a London Court by Clare Rewcastle Brown over Umno buying Hadi for RM90 million is of no great regret to the UKM students.
Not just UKM students but these thieves, plunderers, liars, corrupters, religious conmen and village idiots still enjoy the support of a large group of people in the country. This country has serious problems.
And yet, despite all this, the Pakatan Harapan can still lose TWO By Elections to these thieves and plunderers !!
Politically the Pakatan Harapan is in really worse condition than the BN / Umno.
The Pakatan Harapan can lose votes to thieves, plunderers, liars, corrupters, religious conmen and village idiots.
So far the majority of the voting public (yes looking beyond Cameron Highlands and Semenyih) feel that Pakatan Harapan has no future in Malaysia.
Or in other words they do not see a good future for themselves with the Pakatan Harapan.
UMNO / BN lost GE14 because of the corrupted Najib's refusal to step down. If Najib had stepped down and put in place Hishamuddin Hussein Onn as party president it is very likely that UMNO / BN would still be in power.
But now, at the rate the Pakatan Harapan is sinking, it looks like the UMNO / BN may just come back into power. Especially now that both Najib and Zahid are out of the way. Najib and Zahid will be drinking from a standard issue tin cup soon enough. They are history. With both of them gone, and if UMNO / BN undertakes serious reforms they can come back into power.
(Many thinking Malaysians - especially Chinese - want this to happen. Then there will be an effective two party system. Every country needs a strong political opposition. UMNO / BN have to reorganise themselves.)
But that is on the other side of the tracks. On this side the Pakatan is sinking fast. That little protest gathering by the Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman / Jalan Masjid India businessmen the other day was the first public protest (not organised by any political party) against Pakatan Harapan within just NINE months of the PH winning the elections. And their grievances are legitimate. They are protesting a tidak apa attitude that seems to care more for the corrupt than for honest and hardworking businessmen. But...but ..they are mainly mamak and Indian businessmen. Wrong race. Who cares about them anyway. Peduli apa kita? Oops!
Here is something else I just received via WhatsApp.
Here is the video of what happened :
The text says this Indian guy was waiting at the government department from 10 AM until 2 PM. Then finally when his turn came, the woman at the counter asked him to come back another day because of various stupid reasons. Thats when he lost his cool and began shouting.
Already the self appointed, ethnically challenged (aka 'racist') spin doctors are saying that the Indian guy did not really have to wait for long, 'ambil tindakan' against the Indian fellow etc etc.
Kenapalah you all ini bodoh sangat? The issue is not whether he had to wait one hour, two hours or four hours. The issue is when his turn came, he was not given any service. He was just told to go home and come back another day. Thats when he got upset. Tak cukup staff, pegawai pergi umrah, Puan Maimun pregnant, Ketua Pengarah kahwin lari ke Thailand etc are NOT excuses.
The Indian fellow says his house is far. Possibly he had to take leave or take time off from his work to come to the government department. After going through all that trouble he was simply told to go home and come back again.
But he is only an Indian. A keli*g.
Just like those mamak and Indian businessmen in Masjid India.
Who cares about these people?
Obviously not those civil servants in the video.
They cannot be bothered.
This scene actually reflects the Pakatan Harapan government.
No different from before.
So what will happen to Malaysia? Worse case scenario -
1. The UMNO / BN remains the same corrupted, racist and stupid political grouping that they are. But they gain in popularity among the unthinking population. That Indian fellow will still not get any service.
2. The Pakatan Harapan remains full of dunggu Ministers and non-existent policy making. Pakatan Ministers promising flying cars, Ministers wanting to close main roads for corrupt and stupid reasons, the Minister of Education trying to bring an un-rated Indonesian university to open a campus here (nauzubillah), no changes to the UMNO/BN's failed economic policies, reappointing decrepit old farts to the NEAC, appointing a corruption tainted PAS politician to the MACC's Advisory Panel and other such idiotic actions.
That is what the public sees in the Pakatan Harapan. And that Indian fellow will still not get any service.
So either Pakatan Harapan or UMNO / BN - the country's future is screwed.
A double whammy.
Wait - just a little bit more.
With these two By Election losses (Cameron Highlands and Semenyih) the Pakatan Harapan also loses their attraction to the UMNO and other MPs who are thinking of 'jumping'.
With the loss of Semenyih, they will think twice now.
Or they should be thinking twice.
That audio tape of the Brader doing some plotting has been removed from You Tube.
Surely now - post Semenyih - the Brader will be sending feelers to his UMNO, Sabah and Sarawak buddies again.
"Support me lah. Dr Mahathir has lost it".
And this time I think they will bite.
Is there a Third Option? We really need a Third Option.
