The first rule of book club: You don't talk about book club.
Nashville Legends second baseman Gavin Scott's marriage is in major league trouble. He’s recently discovered a humiliating secret: his wife Thea has always faked the Big O. When he loses his cool at the revelation, it’s the final straw on their already strained relationship. Thea asks for a divorce, and Gavin realizes he’s let his pride and fear get the better of him.
Welcome to the Bromance Book Club.
Distraught and desperate, Gavin finds help from an unlikely source: a secret romance book club made up of Nashville's top alpha men. With the help of their current read, a steamy Regency titled Courting the Countess, the guys coach Gavin on saving his marriage. But it'll take a lot more than flowery words and grand gestures for this hapless Romeo to find his inner hero and win back the trust of his wife.
This is actually my second time reading an Adult Romance. Yeap, this is true. Discover this title through Booktubers and Bookstagrammer. I was intrigued by reading their thoughts about it and I am hooked by it. So, here I am giving my thoughts after finish reading this book last night.
The Bromance Book Club is not like a normal book club where you discuss the books only and only that. This one, it is about Gavin who facing big trouble in his life, on a verge of divorce from his wife, Thea. He really wants to fix their relationship like desperately want his wife back and his twins' daughter. They are the most important person in his life. The thing is how he is supposed to fix the problem. Here's come a team of friends who will help Gavin which welcome him with wide hands into The Bromance Book Club by giving Gavin a romance book for him to read.
💍Before anything, I just want to advise you that read this at your own risk. It is Adult 18+ okay.
I like the fact that it shows the insecurities this couple facing together and how they trying their best to fix it and to understand and love each other again. It felt so raw and real. I sympathy Thea for what she has to endure marrying Gavin; the Nashville top Baseball player has to give birth alone without her husband by her side, has to attend those parties by faking a smile to those women who she is so not really wants to be a friend with. It was so hard for her so when she stands up to one of the women, said what she needs to said, I was like, "Yes, go Thea!". These actually an eye-opener to Gavin to see what she to gone through and all that. Anyhow, besides that, it gives me a good laugh and teared me up altogether. How can you do that to me? All in all, I have fun and enjoy this book so much. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series
