Tanjong Demong Beach Resort, one of the many beach resorts stretched along the shore of Pantai Bukit Keluang shoreline in Kuala Besut, Terengganu, Malaysia. Located not far away from Kuala Besut town, this resort could give an ease of mind to the visitors here. 
We had checked in Tanjong Demong Beach Resort last October right before monsoon season started in East Coast Malaysia. Me and my family, my parent, sisters and brothers gathered here for a family gathering before we move to Australia next year. 
Because of end of school year season that time, we had to booked the rooms 2 weeks before our check in date. All other resorts in Bukit Keluang were full on the date. Sigh. We were lucky enough to book the rooms earlier. Actually my father know the owner so we got a special price on those rooms and we got weekday rate during the weekend. 
Reception areaWe got 2 family rooms and 2 standard rooms. Actually the size were same but the family room is a bit new and modern with LCD TV and got 1 queen bed plus 1 single bed. Standard rooms got 1 queen bed or 2 single beds.
Standard room buildingCheck in was smooth except the reception is located in different building without covered walkway to standard room building. We have to get through a light rain to get to the building with our small children and our luggage. No bellboy on duty. To the family room, there is a covered walkway to reach the building but it is a bit far away. If you got many luggage, park your car behind the building. Of course the parking is very limited

For your own safety, if you are to stay in standard room please don't leave your valuables in the room for a long period of time. I got a room with the door easily to be hacked off, actually there is a sign that the door had been hacked off before. They use the round knob door without the hack proof layer on the outside. Someone with an ID card can slide off his card and open the door. The building also located right beside the resort's perimeter wall which is dark and out of supervision at night. No safe deposit box provided in the room.

One of the main attraction in the resort is their big swimming pool which is divided to adult and kids section. Among the many hotels i had checked in as of today, Tanjong Demong has the biggest swimming pool of them all. The kids section also equipped with a mini water slide which is functional. My kids were very happy. There is also a small playground which is also functional and clean beside the swimming pool. I have to compliment the maintenance crew in Tanjong Demong for their good maintenance services.

The mini playgroundSwimming poolBreaksfast is simple with a choice of 2 local dishes and 1 bread section but it is worthy enough the money we had paid for them. Additional person will be charged RM8.00 which is worthy compared to the serving.

Really big swimming poolOverall, we are all satisified with our stay and our experience here in Tanjong Demong Beach Resort. We will come again but surely we will book a family room next time because I want to be the first person to jump into the pool in the morning.
