Syed Saddiq The Rat Deserting The Sinking Ship
We will talk more about this later but for the meantime rest assured that Syed Saddiq is deserting the sinking ship. Did he not do this before when he lompat pagar to escape the mob, leaving his poor parents at the mercy of the mob? And here he goes again lompating the pagar to escape getting lynched in court.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Yesterday, ex-Parti Pribumi Bersatu (PPBM) youth leader, Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman, announced he is withdrawing his lawsuit to challenge the party’s termination of his party membership. “If (they) want to take the party, take lah. If you want to remove my membership number, remove it lah. I will not delay your efforts,” Syed Saddiq said in a statement (READ MORE HERE).
The truth is, Syed Saddiq knows he has no case and he is going to lose if he proceeds with the suit. Hence, to avoid any embarrassment, he is dropping the case against PPBM. That is what is really happening here. All the rest is just “cakap politik” sebab nak elak dari kemaluan besar.
According to Article 10 of PPBM’s party Constitution, Syed Saddiq’s membership automatically terminated the instant he sued the party.
“10.2 Keahlian seseorang ahli terhenti secara serta-merta apabila berlaku mana-mana satu yang berikut:
10.2.6.Seseorang ahli membawa apa-apa jua perkara parti atau hak keahliannya ke mahkamah.”
Syed Saddiq has a history of lompat pagar when he is cornered
In other words, Syed Saddiq found himself in a “Catch 22” situation. By challenging the termination of his membership in court, his membership became automatically terminated. Hence, even if his termination was wrong in procedure, Syed Saddiq made his termination correct by challenging that termination in court.
And that is the trouble with a “Catch 22” situation. By trying to make things right, you just made it wrong. So wrong becomes right because of your own action. Or is it right becomes wrong because of your own action?
Anyway, Syed Saddiq has been advised that he stands a snowball’s chance in hell if he proceeds with this case. And knowing the lawyer handling this case on the other side, Syed Saddiq has been shot down even as he is still taxiing on the runaway and before he can take off, just like what the Japanese did to the Americans at Pearl Harbour.
