Several Areas In Sabah Pahang To Go Under Emco
Meanwhile, the EMCO at several locations in Pahang, Kelantan and Sabah will be lifted tomorrow.PETALING JAYA: Several localities in Sabah and three in Pahang will go under the enhanced movement control order (EMCO) from Aug 26 until Sept 8, according to the National Security Council (MKN).
In a statement this evening, MKN director-general Rodzi Md Saad said six localities in Tawau, Kota Belud, Penampang and Beaufort will go under EMCO during that period.
The localities are Kampung Sentosa Block 4 and Batu 2, Lorong Saddani (Tawau), Kampung Sayap and Kampung Rampayan Laut (Kota Belud), Tien Hock Mee factory quarters (Penampang) and also Taman Sri Panglima (Beaufort).
In Pahang, three Orang Asli villages in the Ulu Telom subdistrict in Cameron Highlands will go under EMCO from Aug 26 – Kampung Sungai Kabuk, Kampung Sungai Tiang and Kampung Sungai Chohong.
Meanwhile, the EMCO at several localities in Sabah will be extended until Sept 8.
These localities are: Kampung Pulau Penampang, Kampung Gudon and Kampung Lobou (Kota Kinabalu), Kampung Menunggui (Kota Belud), Kampung Tengah (Papar) and also Kampung Timbua-Kembiroi-Lobou Baru (Ranau).
Meanwhile, the EMCO at several locations in Pahang, Kelantan and Sabah will be lifted tomorrow.
In Pahang, these include Felda Jengka 25, Temerloh and Felda Tersang 1, 2 and 3, Raub.
In Kelantan, the EMCO at the Kerilla plantation in Tanah Merah and Kampung Kubang Sawa in Tumpat will also end tomorrow.
In Sabah, Rodzi said, the EMCO at several locations – Bandar Sierra, Kampung Kalasanan, Bandaran Segama, Taman Bukit Setia, Taman Putera Jaya and the J&L factory quarters (Kota Kinabalu), Kampung Petagas (Putatan), Kampung Pogunon (Penampang), Kampung Batu 1 (Sipitang), Kampung Bukit Kukusan (Tawau), Kampung Batu-Batu (Tenom), Kampung Tempasuk 1 and Kampung Tambulaung (Kota Belud) and Kampung Tagibang (Kota Marudu) – will also end tomorrow. - FMT
