Two Negeri Sembilan FC supporters were injured after firecrackers and benches were thrown at them, with a VVIP throwing a water-filled container at families of the opposing team.
The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) found Selangor FC guilty of repeated offences under the FAM disciplinary code, Bernama reported.
The Red Giants were fined RM100,000 and ordered to play in empty stadiums for the second leg of this season’s FA Cup semi-final against Sabah FC on Nov 30, and their first home match for the same competition next season.
“Selangor FC has also been given a stern warning and a heavier punishment will be imposed if the same offence is repeated. This decision can be appealed,” FAM disciplinary committee chairman Baljit Singh said.

Selangor FC supporters had set off firecrackers, two of which had been thrown towards Negeri Sembilan FC supporters.
The home supporters also damaged and threw benches in the spectator stands, and threw water bottles at the Negeri Sembilan FC supporters, injuring two of them.
A VVIP from Selangor FC threw a plastic container filled with water at the families of the Negeri Sembilan FC players.
Selangor FC supporters provoked Negeri Sembilan FC supporters, resulting in a commotion.
Selangor FC failed to comply with its obligations in organising the match, including the implementation of safety laws, including those from the International Football Association Board, and informing and cooperating with local authorities.
In the match on Oct 29, the second leg of the FA Cup quarter-finals, Selangor FC were defeated 3-2 by Negeri Sembilan FC but qualified for the semi-finals on a 6-3 aggregate.
