Rude Saifuddin Slams Sanusi Over Little Napoleons Remark

Home Minister Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has slammed Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor over the latter's "Little Napoleons in the Prime Minister's Office" remark.
According to the PKR secretary-general, the PAS lawmaker should stop blaming others for the problems he himself had created.
"Sanusi is blaming 'Little Napoleons' who allegedly soured his relationship with the prime minister.
"Everyone knows the real issue is Sanusi making up stuff that doesn't exist.
“For example, Sanusi alleged that he was not invited to a National Finance Council meeting when the fact is, he did attend it upon invitation," Saifuddin told Malaysiakini.
He was responding to Sanusi's remark blaming his murky ties with Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on “Little Napoleons” in the latter’s office.
Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md NorSanusi also insisted that he personally had no issues with the prime minister, and suggested the latter to change his officers who are allegedly worsening the situation.
Elaborating, Saifuddin said Sanusi was "rude" to suggest such a thing.
"The prime minister does not need to change his officers. Instead, it is Sanusi who has to mind his decorum when attending meetings that involve the country's secrets.
"Only then, the relationship between the federal government and state government will be harmonious."
Of the four PN- aligned menteris besar currently, Sanusi is the most vocal critic of Anwar and his administration.
Among others, he alleged that Putrajaya had barred him from attending the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (Lima) 2023 and attempted to remove him as the state representative in the National Finance Council.
Sanusi had also criticised the Malaysia Madani Aidilfitri open house set to be held in Alor Setar tomorrow, dubbing it a waste and political campaigning ahead of the upcoming state polls. - Mkini
