Bhd, the hotel was previously owned by Lembaga Tabung Haji and now under the ownership of Urusharta Jemaah Sdn Bhd, a SPV company established by Minister of Finance Incorporated in 2018 during the restoration exercise of Lembaga Tabung Haji. It is now rebranded as Raia Inn Penang, offering comfortable accommodation for leisure and business travellers with the tagline ‘Hotel for All’.


The refurbishment project of Raia Inn Penang comprises of two phases. The first phase includes refreshing the guest rooms with new modern amenities, cafe, and lobby area. The second phase will upgrade the existing landscape and developing leisure facilities such as swimming pool, beach volleyball field and paintball zone, just to name a few.


This represents a move to position the hotel as one of the more leisure accommodation experiences that Bayan Lepas has to offer. With the completion of the first phase and the second phase now under way, the project is expected to be fully completed in early 2023. The new Raia Inn Penang offers guest rooms ranging from superior, deluxe and suites, all-day dining café with 150 seating capacity, comfortable and practical meeting spaces for business guests with free parking, five fully serviced meeting rooms all equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi and audio-visual equipment. The grand ballroom can accommodate up to 1000 capacity for dinners, weddings and conferences.
