Rafizi Aligned Pkr Women Challenger Wants Debate Invites Nurul Izzah
Rodziah Ismail, who is contesting the position of PKR Women’s chief, has expressed her readiness to debate the incumbent, Fadhlina Sidek.
The Ampang MP, aligned with PKR deputy president Rafizi Ramli, also extended an invitation to Nurul Izzah Anwar, who is vying for the number two post.
“I am not a good debater, but God willing, I will work, I will explain the work we can do,” she said during the “Jelajah Hiruk” event in Kota Bharu last night.
“If Nurul Izzah wants to join, no problem, we can hold a forum,” she added.
In the 2022 party election, Rodziah (above, left) lost to Fadhlina by 32 votes. Fadhlina secured the post with 18,923 votes, while Rodziah garnered 18,891.
Previously, Rafizi agreed to debate Nurul Izzah, but the latter preferred to engage the delegates instead.
On Thursday, Fadhlina expressed support for Nurul Izzah, the daughter of Prime Minister and PKR president Anwar Ibrahim, referring to her as the party’s “admiral of peace”.
‘Pictures taken’
Rafizi began his speech on a sarcastic note, saying those at his programme were not afraid if their photos were taken.

Incumbent PKR deputy president Rafizi RamliThis is believed to refer to the apprehension of some PKR grassroots leaders in attending his event.
“Aren’t you afraid that your pictures are taken? Too bad, I’ve taken every single picture...
“What’s there to be afraid of… Even the menteri besar of Negeri Sembilan is not afraid,” he added, referring to Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun, who was present.
In his speech earlier, Aminuddin described the PKR members present at the event as brave individuals. - Mkini
