"All the best to the students who will be sitting for their SPM examination, starting tomorrow.
"I pray that all candidates will be given good health and would be able to answer the exam questions with ease. I wish them success and hope they will excel in life," he wrote.
Muhyiddin said although the Covid-19 pandemic had affected students' learning, he was certain that teachers' dedication in imparting knowledge to the candidates would have instilled the spirit and will to succeed and do their best in this exam.
"To all (SPM) candidates, take care of your health and answer the questions calmly. To teachers and parents, may your teaching and prayers help with the success of our students. God willing," he added.
After facing much delay due to the pandemic and movement restrictions, 401,105 SPM candidates would be sitting for their examination, which begins nationwide tomorrow.
SPM was originally slated for Oct 5 to Nov 19. It was moved to Nov 16 to Dec 7 when the first Movement Control Order (MCO) was enforced in March last year.

In June last year, Senior Education Minister Dr Mohd Radzi Md Jidin announced that SPM would take place from Jan 6 to Feb 9, 2021.
In November, the ministry decided to move the dates for SPM, Sijil Vokasional Malaysia and Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia to Feb 22, 2021.
Radzi had said the examinations this time would vary greatly from those held in the past, with tight compliance to the SOP.
A total of 48,014 invigilators would be on duty to ensure strict compliance to the SOP.
Candidates would be required to submit a completed health declaration form every day before they enter the examination hall, besides having their body temperatures taken and wearing face masks for the duration of the examination. - NST
