Pkr Youth Vice Chief S Statement Do Not Represent The Wing Says Secretary

PKR Youth secretary Ahmad Syukri Che Ab Razab (photo above, left) says that a statement made by his vice-chief urging the party to sack Haziq Abdullah Abdul Aziz does not represent the youth wing
Instead, Ahmad Syukri said the statement by Mohd Nazree Yunos (photo above, right) reflected his personal opinion
"PKR Youth refutes the statement as being officially from us. It is Nazree Yunos' personal view
"The meeting which he attended (yesterday) was not an official meeting organised by the wing but organised by (deputy president Mohamed Azmin Ali's political aide) Hilman Idham," he said in statement today
Ahmad Syukri said PKR Youth fully supports the decision by the party's political bureau on its stance on the viral sex video which implicated "two individuals from PKR.""PKR Youth believes that the (PKR) disciplinary board made the best decision to solve the conflict which has gained public interest. It is unanimously agreed by the political bureau," the statement read
Yesterday, Mohd Nazree said the youth wing was firmly behind Azmin and is ready to face any possibility
"PKR Youth is firm in the view that Haziq must be sacked. I would like to stress that on the team level we will defend the deputy minister in facing the slander and after a lengthy discussion, we are ready to face any situation which will occur in PKR and on the national level," he said
The meeting was held in the evening in Shah Alam. Prior to that, PKR held its political bureau meeting but Azmin was not present
Yesterday, PKR's disciplinary board has decided that Haziq to be slapped with a show cause letter and he as 14 days to respond to it.The 27-year-old made a confession last week that he was filmed in a sex video with another man whom he claimed to be Azmin
Azmin has denied the allegations as libel meant to tarnish his reputation
Meanwhile, disciplinary committee chief Ahmad Kassim said they took into account Azmin's denial and would look into any explanation on the matter. - Mkini
