Pkr Rep Lodges Report Against Najib S Facebook Admin

PKR supreme council member Fahmi Zainol has filed a police report against Eric See-To, the social media administrator for former prime minister Najib Abdul Razak.
The report was prompted by a post on Najib’s Facebook account and a related article published on Malaysiakini, both dated Jan 7.
“The Facebook post questioning the High Court’s decision - upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Federal Court - in the SRC International case, and criticising the trial judge, is clearly an act of contempt of court,” Fahmi told reporters.
The report was lodged at the Dang Wangi district police headquarters in Kuala Lumpur at around 1.40pm today.
In the police report, Fahmi claimed that the Facebook post undermines the credibility of Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan Mat and disrespects the country’s judicial system.
Chief Justice Tengku Maimun Tuan MatFahmi further accused Najib’s social media administrators of making repeated attempts to question the integrity of the judiciary.
“These deliberate efforts to tarnish the institution and fabricate a scandal that undermines the judiciary’s credibility amount to excessive actions equivalent to the crime of contempt of court,” Fahmi elaborated.
Inaccurate
In the Malaysiakini article, See-To alleged that another article published on the platform, “Amid full pardon push, Najib’s FB swipes at SRC trial judge again,” contained inaccuracies that required correction.
He referenced a leaked letter from the MACC to the chief justice on Feb 20, 2023, requesting action against judge Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali based on an MACC investigation.
However, Fahmi dismissed See-To’s claims, highlighting the irony of such allegations, which he said were contradictory.

“A seven-member panel of the Federal Court ruled that MACC investigation into Nazlan was conducted without regard for judicial independence and failed to adhere to proper protocols,” he said.
Fahmi also highlighted that See-To was named in the report because he had publicly revealed his role as one of Najib’s social media administrators during the Yang Bakar Menteri podcast with Economy Minister Rafizi Ramli last year.
“The report was filed to ensure that See-To is held accountable for his statements. His repeated attempts to distort facts can potentially cause harm to the public.
“We urge the police to take decisive action against this individual for insulting the court,” he remarked.
While this is the first report, Fahmi called for a nationwide effort to lodge similar reports.
