Ph Backers Fumed At Umno Youth Head For Chastising Formula King Rafizi Over Sg Bakap Polls Defeat

A TRULY concise yet sarcastic social media post by radical UMNO Youth chief Dr Muhamad Akmal Saleh which purportedly blamed Economy Minister Rafizi Rami for the Pakatan Harapan (PH) defeat in Saturday’s (July 6) Sungai Bakap state by-election has set tongues wagging about his political allegiance.
“The dumb and stupid formula by the formula king (moniker for Rafizi) has borne fruits in Sungai Bakap,” he took a potshot on his Facebook (FB) page at the PKR deputy president whose party is an UMNO ally in the ruling unity government. ‘Congratulations to Sungai Bakap folks. Leaders mustn’t be arrogant with the people.”

The FB post of the Merlimau state assemblyman was carried by opposition-slant news portal Malaysia Gazette (@MalaysiaGazette) with many seemingly PH supporters reacting by pouring scorn on Akmal’s motive of training his gun on his own comrade.
This has prompted calls for UMNO to reprimand the Melaka state EXCO for rural development, agriculture and food security for his “wolf in a sheep clothing” attitude is surely not helping UMNO who is facing a dearth in generating Malay support.

Moreover, not only is the Russian-trained medical practitioner acting “more as a Perikatan Nasional (PN) spokesman” but he has not even “gone down to Sungai Bakap to rally young voters towards the unity government or even bring UMNO closer to the hearts of the people”.

Many commentators further trolled Akmal as a potential liability for both UMNO and the unity government in the long run. There were even calls for UMNO president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi to act against Akmal whose notoriety as “king of boycott” is well-known.

Nevertheless, many seemingly pro-PN commentators hailed Akmal for “his heroics” on his FB page which has since garnered 8,100 likes, 2,300 comments and 350 shares with a majority of them reckoning that Rafizi and PKR should be taught a lesson about humility.
