Person Who Recorded Alleged Pkr Polls Bribery Claims Harassment
The individual who recorded a video of alleged bribery during a PKR branch election, along with their family, has claimed to be facing harassment and pressure following the exposé.
ADS“Therefore, a police report will be lodged to ensure the safety of the individual and their family,” said former Federal Territory PKR leader Rozan Azen Mat Rasip.
The individual’s identity and details of the police report have not been disclosed at this time.
Rozan, a former leader of Batu PKR, has been running an anti-corruption campaign during the branch’s election in Kuala Lumpur.

Prabakaran has denied any involvement following the allegations.
Fatin Izzaty Muhammad, the Batu PKR Women Youth Chief who appears in the video, claimed the aid shown was standard assistance and not intended to buy votes.
Meanwhile, in a statement today, Rozan said he contacted the individual who recorded the alleged bribery incident to verify details, obtain further information, and carry out cross-checks.
Willing to come forward
He said the individual is willing to come forward and meet the PKR Election Committee’s Complaints Bureau and the party’s secretary-general, Fuziah Salleh, for investigation and further action.
“The Complaints Bureau of the Election Committee and the Office of the PKR Secretary-General have responded positively to my complaint yesterday.
“Therefore, the investigation process is now underway in an orderly manner,” Rozan said.
The “duit raya” video had spread earlier, raising concerns about alleged vote-buying amid the ongoing PKR elections.
ADSThe video, which appears to have been secretly recorded, shows Fatin handing out money and asking for votes for “YB Praba’s team”, including herself, ahead of voting tomorrow.
Fatin also said RM100 in “duit raya” would be given before voting, and another RM100 during voting.
“If we win, there’s a jackpot - don’t worry,” she added.
Prabakaran, who is also the Batu MP, is being challenged by lawyer Asheeq Ali, a former student activist. - Mkini
