People In Kelantan Much Happier Than Those In Selangor Deputy Mb
Kelantan's fifth position in the Malaysia Happiness Index (MHI) 2021 proves that the people in the state are happy and satisfied with their lives, said Kelantan Deputy Menteri Besar Mohd Amar Abdullah.
He said the MHI score obtained by Kelantan was far ahead of more advanced states such as Selangor.
"We (Kelantan) are among the happy states. Happy means that the people are satisfied, the people are happy even if there are problems. That is why we are included in the happiness index.
"We got a score of 7.0, slightly different from Terengganu's 7.2 (fourth position).
"Compared to Selangor’s 5.0, it is much different. That is a state that is said to be intelligent, ruled by Pakatan Harapan, the land is abundant, the state is rich, but the people are not happy," he said.
Mohd Amar was speaking at a Kelantan state assembly post-session talk in Pengkalan Chepa, Kota Bharu, last night.

Meanwhile, 11 states including the Federal Territories of Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya were at a Happy level, while Malacca and Selangor were Moderately Happy.
The study was carried out to measure the level of happiness of the Malaysian population from the physical, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects.
The level of Malaysia’s happiness was categorised into five scores, where the value of 0.00-2.00 is very unhappy, 2.01-4.00 unhappy, 4.01-6.00 moderately happy, 6.01-8.00 happy, and 8.01-10.00 very happy.

Mohd Amar, who is also the Panchor assemblyperson, said the people of Kelantan are advised to think carefully and not follow their feelings, especially since there are parties who want to change the administration of the state.
"So we choose what we want in life, what do we as voters and citizens want?
"We have to think, not simply follow calls to change the government," he said. - Mkini
