Over 413 000 Students To Sit For Spm 2025 From Nov 3

PUTRAJAYA: The Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) 2025 examination, involving 413,372 candidates, will begin this Monday (Nov 3) and run until Dec 23 at 3,350 examination centres nationwide.
In a statement Friday (Oct 31), the Education Ministry said the Bahasa Melayu Oral Test will be held from Nov 3 to 6, followed by the English Language Oral Test from Nov 10 to 13.
"The Science Practical Test will take place from Nov 17 to 19, while the Malay Language and English Language Listening Tests will be conducted on Nov 20," the ministry said.
The written examinations will be held from Nov 25 to Dec 23, with 127,526 examination personnel appointed to ensure smooth management and administration of the SPM.
The ministry reminded all candidates to refer to the SPM 2025 timetable for complete information on examination dates, times, paper codes and titles, as well as instructions to be followed throughout the examination period.
The timetable can be downloaded from the Malaysian Examinations Board (LP) portal at lp.moe.gov.my.
Candidates are also reminded to bring their identification documents and Examination Registration Slip to the examination centres and to comply with all standard operating procedures and regulations to ensure a smooth examination process.
"The ministry is mindful of the safety and welfare of candidates and examination personnel, especially in the event of emergencies such as natural disasters or the spread of Influenza-Like Illness (ILI) during the 2025 SPM examination period," it said.
It added that it is fully prepared with proper mechanisms and preventive measures, working closely with relevant agencies.
"Candidates are advised to immediately inform their schools or state education departments (JPN) if affected by any disaster. They may also contact the LP or JPN operations rooms nationwide," the statement said.
The ministry reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the 2025 SPM examination is conducted efficiently and in an orderly manner. - Bernama
