Non Subsidised Ron95 Fixed At Rm2 60 A Litre For October
There will be no change to the prices of RON97 and diesel, which will be in effect until Oct 8.

This is a 55 sen increase from RM2.05 per litre currently, but will only apply to those who do not qualify for BUDI95, particularly foreigners.
The finance ministry said this price for non-subsidised RON95 will be fixed for the whole of October, with adjustments to follow based on global fluctuations in the oil market, while supporting price stability.
RON95 will meanwhile be sold at RM1.99 per litre for Malaysians eligible for BUDI95, and RM2.05 a litre for the public transport and land freight transport sectors.
The price of RON97 will remain at RM3.21 per litre, while diesel will continue to be sold at RM2.93 per litre in Peninsular Malaysia and RM2.15 per litre in East Malaysia.
These prices will be in effect until Oct 8.
“For e-hailing drivers, the government will work with e-hailing operators to identify drivers eligible for additional fuel subsidies. The finance ministry and Land Public Transport Agency will finalise the application process for the additional subsidy with the operators this week,” said the ministry.
In a statement, it said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil price trends and take appropriate measures to ensure the people’s continued welfare and wellbeing. - FMT
