No Reports Yet But Kelantan Cops Monitoring Kerajaan Gagal Banners

More "Kerajaan Gagal" (failed government) banners have been discovered since the viral Hari Raya eve incident in Parit Raja, Johor, this time in several locations across Kelantan.
Kelantan police chief Shafien Mamat said they received information about the banners but there were no formal reports made so far.
"I have identified the incident. I have checked with all district police chiefs, and I have also received the viral photos. But so far until today, there has been no police report made.
"I confirmed the matter this morning, we have conducted checks at the locations said to be where the banners were erected, but there were none left," he said at a press conference after visiting the Mukim Limbat Pasir Tumboh, Kota Bharu, enhanced movement control order area today.
He was commenting on viral photographs of the "Kerajaan Gagal" banner found at several locations in Machang, Jalan Kuala Krai and Jalan Rantau Panjang, believed to have been raised as a sign of protest against the government.
"Police view this matter seriously and we are in the process of gathering all information and also related sources.
"Police will monitor all inappropriate banners like the 'Kerajaan Gagal' banner. Even though there has been no report yet, but we will continue to monitor," he added.






Shafien said this was as the raising of banners without approval from the local council was illegal. 
"In this case, raising the banner did not follow the law.
"Even ordinary advertisements are not allowed without a permit, what more to protest. That is clearly wrong," he said. - Mkini
