No Need To Fear Me Unless You Touch On 3r Akmal Tells Ayer Kuning Voters

AYER KUNING POLLS | Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal Saleh told Ayer Kuning voters that there was no reason to fear him unless they touch on race, royalty, or religion (3R) issues.
ADS"There is no need to be afraid of me. As long as you do not touch the religion, race and royal (institution) enshrined in the Federal Constitution, I will not touch you either.
"But if you dare to touch (on 3R issues) even a little, we (BN) will not budge an inch to defend our religion, race and homeland," he warned on Facebook today.
The Merlimau assemblyperson shared a photo of a PSM banner for the Ayer Kuning by-election in Perak.
The banner depicted Akmal behind PSM candidate Bawani KS, with text in Chinese saying a vote for BN is a vote for Akmal and urging support for political parties that do not play racial politics.
Akmal asked why it was necessary to have his face there along with such words and urged those involved in the by-election to campaign healthily.
Umno Youth chief Dr Akmal SalehThe Ayer Kuning by-election was called after the death of its incumbent assemblyperson, Ishsam Shahruddin, 58, who died of a heart attack on Feb 22.
The race is a three-cornered fight between Tapah Perikatan Nasional chief Abd Muhaimin Malek, Tapah Umno secretary Yusri Bakir and Bawani who is PSM deputy secretary-general.
According to analysts, Ayer Kuning’s electorate is made up of 56 percent Malays, 22 percent Chinese, 14 percent Indians and 8 percent Orang Asli.
A survey by Malaysiakini found that voters there are keen to preserve their harmonious way of living and strong sense of community.
