Mca Youth Puteri Umno To Join Blockade On Us Embassy
MCA Youth and Puteri Umno are the latest to join a six-day “blockade” on the US Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, starting from 10pm tonight.
In a statement today, MCA Youth deputy chief Mike Chong Yew Chuan said it stands in solidarity with over 60 organisations, including civil society organisations, student groups and political entities, in their call for an immediate ceasefire of all atrocities committed by Israel Defence Forces (IDF) on Palestine.
“MCA does not wish for any continued destruction of Gaza.
“We cannot bear to see anymore Palestinians being brutally maimed or annihilated, whereby the number of casualties has now reached 20,000 victims and continues to grow,” Chong said.
He added that MCA Youth had submitted a memorandum to the Palestinian Ambassador to Malaysia Walid Abu Ali on Oct 30 in support of an immediate ceasefire.
