Anyway, if you ask me what yesterday’s meeting between Hadi and Mahathir was really about, and if I were to hazard a guess, I would suspect the meeting was to discuss where PAS will stand if Mahathir makes his move on Anwar Ibrahim and forms a new coalition without DAP and the Anwar faction in PKR. Yes, you read that right. In 2016, prime minister Najib Tun Razak paid PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang (or PAS, or a number of leaders in PAS) RM90 million to get PAS to support Umno. Yesterday, prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad paid Hadi RM900 million to get PAS to NOT support Umno.
Well, actually that did not happen. But I am sure Clare Rewcastle Brown can find a way to spin this, like how she spun the RM90 million story in 2016. After, all, she can claim she picked up a frog and kissed it and it turned into a handsome prince and most Pakatan Harapan people, in particular the DAP Chinese, will believe that story.

Gua caya sama lu, Clare! And that story will make sense because this was what Utusan Online reported yesterday:
Perdana Menteri, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad hari ini sekali lagi menerima kunjungan Presiden Pas, Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang di Yayasan Al-Bukhari, ibu negara.
Memetik laporan portal Malaysiakini, Abdul Hadi tiba di pejabat tersebut kira-kira pukul 9 pagi dan pertemuan antara kedua-dua tokoh berlangsung kira-kira 45 minit.
Pertemuan yang diadakan ini merupakan pertemuan kedua membabitkan Dr. Mahathir sejak menjawat jawatan sebagai Perdana Menteri sejak Mei lalu.
“Pertemuan pertama diadakan di Yayasan Kepimpinan Perdana di Putrajaya dengan di sertai Menteri Besar Terengganu, Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar dan veteran Pas, Mustafa Ali.
“Menyertai pertemuan kali ini ialah Setiausaha Agung PAS, Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan dan Menteri Besar Terengganu, Ahmad Samsuri,” katanya di sini hari ini.

Hadi met Mahathir in his office on Friday, 15th February 2019 I was told the purpose of the meeting was to discuss the subject of the oil royalty payment for Terengganu and Kelantan. It seems it comes to about RM900 million for Terengganu alone and with Kelantan included the total would be about RM1.5 billion or more.
Actually, Mahathir had already approved the payment last year. But Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng refuses to release the money because Terengganu and Kelantan are not under Pakatan Harapan. Furthermore, why should Guan Eng help states where the population is 97-98% Malay and controlled by an Islamic party?
In short, Guan Eng is allowing his anti-Malay and anti-Islam sentiments get in the way of his professionalism, transparency and good governance. This is typical of how Chinese triads operate and Guan Eng is cut from the same cloth.
Anyway, this makes a good story for Sarawak Report, which is hungry for new stories. The RM90 million story has gone basi and no one wants to read it any longer. Hence Sarawak Report can now talk about the RM900 million that Mahathir bribed Hadi yesterday to get PAS to not support Umno in the Semenyih by-election.

Husam can claim he saw the RM900 million cheque like he claimed he saw the RM90 million cheque Sarawak Report can even claim that Husam Musa has seen the cheque amounting to RM900 million, like he saw the cheque amounting to RM90 million in 2016, which until today the MACC cannot seem to trace.
I always say never allow the truth to get in the way of a good story, the way Clare Rewcastle Brown does.

Mahathir has approved the oil royalty payment to Terengganu and Kelantan but Guan Eng is defying Mahathir and is blocking the payment And I suspect Hadi smiled and wink-wink and told Mahathir since the RM900 million oil royalty to Terengganu and another RM600 million or so to Kelantan is going to be released, there is nothing to stand in the way of PAS supporting Mahathir’s new Pakatan Baru that will preclude DAP and the Anwar faction of PKR.
So, go for it, Sarawak Report. Let’s read your new story: “Mahathir paid Hadi RM900 million to abandon Umno’.
