Madani Govt Blamed For Najib S Failed Bid But Netizens Remind That He Was Jailed When Umno Was Govt

YEAR 2025 will be ending with a bang, now with the news of the ages dropping on our laps yesterday. It appears Bossku won’t be dining on quinoa with a side of Puding Raja for dessert.
It is likely white rice and kangkung from Kajang prison. But hold it. The rich always have a way of bending the rules so the people who disliked Najib cannot rejoice just yet.
To recap, the Kuala Lumpur High Court yesterday rejected the house arrest option for disgraced former premier Datuk Seri Najib Razak. And so the brouhaha begins with UMNO fire brand Akmal Salleh suggesting that UMNO remove their support for the Madani government.
In reply to his suggestion, netizen @SyedAkramin pointed out in a post on X that Najib was jailed during the era of the UMNO government under Ismail Sabri.
So why are they blaming the Madani government now that his home arrest bid was rejected? Is this yet another case of pot calling the kettle black? Shots were fired and boy does it hurt.

“But will the parliament members of UMNO who are now ministers relinquish their power and position?” said @muhdrajaei, adding that even if they are to retract their support, there is still a  simple majority from GPS and GRS.
Another netizen even compared Akmal Salleh to the controversial blogger Papagomo.

“Please, quickly retract your support,” said @megatafif while @uzirazo3174 suggested the people of UMNO be placed in the Kajang jail too. 
Then there was @UthRsm highlighting the fact that a person who steals a can of sardine has to go to jail, so this is illogical.

These are but some of the choice comments from the post. Akmal Salleh is getting a proper roasting on the cyberspace for his suggestion, but we doubt he cares anyway.
However, we would like to point out to Mr Akmal that the Minister of Law and Institutional Reform in the Department of the Prime Minister of Malaysia is no other than Dato’ Seri Azalina Binti Dato’ Othman Said who happens to be UMNO’s head of information.
Perhaps Akmal has conveniently forgotten this so here is a gentle reminder. Let the blame game continue. — Focus Malaysia
