Latest 40 Mps Quitting Umno Joining Bersatu Only Eight Mps Left In Umno

The EIGHT MPs left in UMNO will be  Belut, Beruk, Kera, Katak,  Kaldai, Nyamuk, Lipas and Lintah.  First here is the story :

My comments :  
So now Tun Dr Mahathir will have 13 Bersatu + 6 UMNO + 40 more UMNO = 59 MPs with him.  
Plus 10 Amanah + 8 Sabah + 19 Sarawak =  37
Total = 59 + 37 = 96 MPs.
Say PKR splits into two, that will be another 25 Azmin aligned MPs (??) with Tun Dr Mahathir.  
Total will be 121 MPs, exceeding the 112 seat majority in Parliament to form the government.  
Plus DAPs 42 MPs will make up 163, which is well above the 2/3 majority (148 seats) needed in Parliament to amend the Federal Constitution.  The Federal Constitution must be amended.  
The Brader will not make it past the post. 
That is the least of our problems. 
I really hope the DAP can stay with Tun Dr Mahathir. The political landscape has changed. Mindsets have changed (to a certain extent).
Most importantly, above everything else,  SOLUTIONS and DYNAMIC THINKING are needed to push everyone forward -   all together in one great big push. 
My race / bangsa first, Sabah first, Sarawak first,  Johor first, my religion first will all not work.  

Those who do not understand this can lose the elections - like UMNO did on May 9th.   What should all Members of Parliament do now? Make sure the above equation happens.  The sooner the better.Posted by Syed Akbar Ali
