Kit Siang S Hypocrisy In Utusan Issue

SINCE when did Lim Kit Siang show great concern for Utusan and its predicament? When he told Umno to look into problems plaguing the Malay daily, what did he actually try to demonstrate?

Firstly, I think he wanted to belittle Umno for not being able to attend to Utusan's problems. And secondly, he tried to woo the Malay support for DAP by showing sympathy to laid-off Utusan staff, as if he's the champion of those workers, and probably the Malays.

Yes, DAP cannot survive without the Malay support. And for that very reason, they accepted Dr M's offer to form Pakatan Harapan, knowing that the latter has shown much despice towards him and DAP in the past.

However, LKS is okay working with his nemesis for power.

Now, about Utusan. Maybe LKS was synically shooting at Umno. Knowing how PH government is sharpening its knife on the party - by freezing its account and subscribing to unthinkable political suppression - he is actually laughing at Umno, making fun of the party which Dr M wants to see its demise.

Don't tell me that he is not aware of Umno's almost-destitude condition? So, he was just trying to be chummy with Utusan workers and the gullible Malays.

Another thing about print media that he should know. Such businesses around the world is taking a 'punishment' from the internet. Many newspaper organisations have closed down, some turning to online. So, there's nothing that Umno can do to reverse this trend.

Its similar to when Bank Negara foreign reserves shrinks to US$101.1 billion since PH took over Putrajaya seven months ago, his son Guan Eng used the excuse to protect Dr M.

But Umno doesn't lie about Utusan, unlike LGE who hides behind the bushes about the actual situation of the economy.

Most of all, Umno never failed in its promises to the people!
