Khalid Wants To Burn Rm6 7 Billion Taxpayers Money In Kg Bharu
Well I already blogged what the Kg Bharu people already knew about Khalid's offer. RM850 cash plus RM150 shares.
Khalid has not said if the SPV will be listed or not. It better be.
Khalid says the detailed plans will be finalised by June 2020 and the "first payments" will begin thereafter. Wow! That is just EIGHT MONTHS away.
Do you think the Flying Car will also be flying by then?
Because Khalid also does a tai chi. He says the relevant government agencies will do the detailed fine tuning. (KSU yang berkenaan will either be laughing or terkencing. Or both).
Brother Khalid, the Gross Development Value (GDV) is RM30 Billion. Land cost pula is RM6.7 Billion. So GDV is almost 4.5 TIMES land cost.
Tapi hang bagi 15% discount saja untuk pemilik tanah Kg Bharu beli rumah baru !! Kedekutnya. GDV is RM30 Billion. Bagilah seorang sebiji rumah.
Khalid has also not answered the all important question. Bila projek redevelopment ini dijangka siap? 2030? 2050? 2100?

My comments : I think I have seen those glass model buildings before. Here are some screenshots :
These glass models look like the same ones used during Abdullah Badawi's northern corridor, southern corridor, backdoor, side door which they showed to the public during Badawi's time THIRTEEN YEARS ago circa 2006. Not ONE of those glass model skyscrapers announced during Badawi's time was ever built. Not one.
Maybe they are recycling the same glass models again - you know to reduce carbon emissions and reverse global warming. By the way does anyone know the carbon dioxide content in the atmosphere? Here is another screen shot :

Ok tuan-tuan, perhatikan all those model skyscrapers yang canggih itu. KLCC pun kalah. KL Sentral kalah. Singapore Financial District pun kalah.
If Khalid is going to build all those buildings then the value of the land in Kg Bharu should be approaching RM4000 per square foot. It cannot be RM1,000 psf. That does not sound fair at all.
And maybe because of that (the land valuation) here is another video that has gone viral today. Obviously this man is from Kg Bharu. Or he sounds like a resident. He is not convinced with Khalid Samad's offer at all.
Brother Khalid, even when the nawaitu (intention) is good you still need good business sense.
Tapi kalau nawaitu tak betul and then business sense pun tak ada atau kurang, alamatnya kapal akan tenggelam bro.
