These two pictures here are shots of the newest highway intersection in town. 


Above and below : Jalan sudah siap. Tapi ditutup pula.Tunggu Menteri atau VIP untuk merasmikan.


This is the new link between Pantai Dalam (Pantai Sentral) and the NPE highway that provides an alternative and super easy connection from the Pantai Dalam, Kerinchi, Bangsar South, PantaiHillpark area to the NPE, towards Seremban, Subang Jaya, Sunway etc and vice versa.
This intersection will help the massive congestion that builds up during rush hour in these areas. Commuters will save about 15 minutes at least in the time taken to just exit from Pantai Dalam during evening rush hours. That is plenty of savings.
Congratulations to the developer (I think it is IJM) who has made all this happen. 
Or not yet.
The intersection is complete. Or 99.9% complete.
But it has not yet been opened to the public.
The intersection has been 99.9% complete since June 2018 when it was supposed to open.  That what the engineers working on site told me. 
It is now November 22nd and the new intersection has still not opened yet.
Another staff told me that it is possibly because 'the Minister has not given a date yet to attend the opening'.
My view is the developer / builder need not wait for any Minister or VIP to come before they open a highway for the public. Can you please open the intersection. The Minister can come later.
If a Minister is required to attend, then can Anthony Loke (Transport) or Khalid Samad (Wilayah / Crypto Currency) please give them a date so that the intersection can be opened to the public?
