Jangan Harap Pengundi Malaysia
The worst is yet to come. Over the next two years Malaysians are going to suffer more and more. My critics and sceptics say if I want to talk then come back to Malaysia. More than 1.5 Malaysians live outside Malaysia. And this is because they have lost confidence in the country. And many have PR status or foreign citizenship. So good luck to you Malaysians who vote for idiots to run the country. I will stay in the UK where we take no shit from the government.
NO HOLDS BARRED
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Only 50.5% of the Terengganu voters and 52% of the Kelantan voters voted for PAS or Gagasan Sejahtera. Overall, nationwide, 19.8% of the voters voted for PAS-Gagasan Sejahtera.
Nationwide, Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan garnered 33.5% and 46.4% of the votes respectively. Hence the argument that PH won majority votes in GE14 is a fallacy. 46.4% of the votes is not a majority. It is less than 50%. Hence, it is a minority, although a large minority.
Now, it must be remembered that the 46.4% that PH won includes 5.95% of the votes won by PPBM or Bersatu. Hence DAP, PKR and Amanah, minus Bersatu, won only 40.45% of the popular votes.
It can be argued that many people voted for Bersatu because it was part of PH, and if it was not part of PH then Bersatu would not have won those votes. At the same time, PH won 46.4% of the votes (the Bersatu votes included) because of the Tsunami.
Will the next general election still see this Tsunami like in GE14? Are the voters disappointed, disillusioned and/or fed-up with PH, and will they still stick with PH in GE15?
In 2018, the mood of the rakyat was different. In 2020, it was different again. And this year, 2021, it is different, yet again. Next year or 2023, the mood is going to be even more different.
And many things are going to affect this mood — the economy, Covid-19, the excess politicking, the lies, the fitnah, the progress (or lack of it) involving the “court cluster”, the new revelations regarding transgressions by the PH government, politicians treating the rakyat like fools, the arrogance of politicians, and so on.
Take my first sentence in my first paragraph: “Only 50.5% of the Terengganu voters and 52% of the Kelantan voters voted for PAS or Gagasan Sejahtera.”
Yes, just half the voters in Terengganu and Kelantan voted AGAINST Barisan Nasional and Pakatan Harapan. In Kelantan, 37.6% of the voters voted for BN and 10% voted for PH. In Terengganu, 42.2% voted for BN and 7.3% voted for PH.
In short, Terengganu and Kelantan are not really “Kubu PAS” like many believe, not like in Penang and Selangor where PH won more than 60% of the popular votes. PH “owns” Penang and Selangor. PAS does not quite “own” Terengganu and Kelantan.
The strange thing is, the Federal Government is robbing Terengganu and Kelantan of their oil and gas (just like in Sabah and Sarawak). Technically, the oil and gas belong to Terengganu and Kelantan 100%. Then they changed the law in 1974 so that the Federal Government can rampas the oil and gas and give back only 5% “commission” to the state. Yet still half the Malays in Terengganu and Kelantan support the Federal Government. How do you explain this?
Everyone is so excited about the elections and are pushing for elections to be held as soon as possible, thinking that elections will solve all the nation’s problems.
Yes, that was also what the Germans thought in the 1920s and 1930s. So, in 1933, the Germans voted for the National Socialist German Workers’ Party (or, in German, NSDAP) a.k.a. the Nazi Party.
Germany was facing so much economic and political problems. The Germans were suffering and wanted changed. People were going bankrupt, and many Germans were jobless and homeless. And the Nazi Party promised the people reforms and change and promised a bright future ahead for Germans and Germany (just like what PKR and DAP are doing).
What the people got instead was 80 million deaths (it is said six million Jews were amongst them), or 3% of the world’s population exterminated in WWII. The promised land never happened. What happened instead was false promises, misery, death, and destruction.
“Malaysia 2018” was “Germany 1933” all over again. Then came Covid-19 followed by the collapse of the Pakatan Harapan government in 2020. From thereon, Malaysia became like Germany — false promises and misery.
To form the government in 1933, you needed 324 seats. Hitler’s party won only 288 seats against just 43.9% of the votes. So it was a minority government in both votes and seats. Malaysia is no different. In Melaka, Barisan Nasional won only 38% of the votes. Even the Nazi Party did better.
Trusting the future of the country in the hands of the voters is suicide. Most voters cannot think properly.
During the days of Socrates and Plato, they had to study philosophy, logic, and rhetoric. So people were able to think, reason, and articulate ideas. In Malaysia, they are not encouraged to think because thinking is dangerous to religions and governments. So Malaysia’s education system teaches you to be stupid.
