we dont expect this tariff to be as negative as for the others??
this year targetting 4.5% to 5.5% GDP growth
consensus about 1% to 1.5% impact 
so we can navigate this for 2025 OSTB: 
From 5% GDP growth down to 4% GDP growth is a 20% drop. If you were expecting FIVE truckloads of durians and then they cut down the durian trees and we only get FOUR truckloads of durians, that is a 20% drop. 
Is that a laughing matter? Its more like 'shitting bricks' time.

"Shitting bricks" is a humorous and exaggerated way of describing feeling extremely scared or anxious, to convey a sense of being overwhelmed similar to "being freaked out" or "panicking." But the guy sounds totally relaxed. He is not shitting bricks.  Also what is missing is what are they really going to do about it? Both Vietnam and Indonesia have already sent delegations to Washington to meet the Americans. But we have been given a date dont know when. End of April?  Malaysia exports more semi-conductor chips than both Vietnam and Indonesia combined. What I am not hearing is are we Malaysia going to cut our tariffs on American imports? The Americans have calculated our tariffs at 47%. Thats not correct. Total taxes on imported American cars can reach 300%.  
Then you have the non-tariff barriers like the APs, the quotas and licenses. Are these going to be negotiated? You know, so that the country does not suffer that 1.0% - 1.5% drop in the GDP. Or will it be laughs all the way. HA HA HA.
