Islam Prohibits Slanderous Comments Asmuni Slams Razman Over Remarks
Perak PAS chief Razman Zakaria has been lambasted for remarks made against Pakatan Harapan, among which claimed that its chairperson Anwar Ibrahim has an LGBT agenda and wants to legalise same-sex marriage.
Perak Amanah chairperson Asmuni Awi (above) said the Islamist party man should focus on the people’s woes rather than making slanderous remarks.
“He should focus on the people’s issues such as economic issues, the price of goods, poverty and so on in his campaigns instead of making slanderous comments and causing conflicts,” Asmuni said in a Facebook post.
“These slanderous campaigns should be stopped and the religion of Islam prohibits its disciples from making slanderous comments because of its large impact on society and the action itself is very regrettable.”
Perak PAS chief Razman ZakariaRazman made the remarks yesterday during a walkabout at the Tebuk Pancur night market.
Razman, who is Perikatan Nasional’s candidate at the Gunong Semanggol state constituency, claimed that Anwar is a person who has LGBT agenda that wants to legalise same-sex marriage.
He then accused DAP of having a communist agenda and that Muslims in the country must not vote for them.
“The worst thing is, if we give our votes to BN, they will work together with Anwar Ibrahim and DAP to form a government.
“Please remember if you vote Harapan or BN meaning you are giving power to DAP, to let them do whatever they want,” he claimed.
The walkabout session was also aired on Facebook live on his personal account. However, the video has since been removed. - Mkini
