India S Authorities Go Viral For Slapping Male Passengers In Female Only Train
IT CAN be quite perilous for ladies to sit in a mixed-gender train, with the many marauding male hands.
That is why a female only area had been designated, although we all know quite a number of guys will still be present there.
Whether due to ignorance of because they simply do not care, we cannot tell but the rules are the rules. So how do we solve the problem?
Here in a viral video post on X, India showed that an effective solution may come in the form of several slaps and having the face of the perpetrators being video recorded.
In the video, only one man was safe from the barrage of slaps as he was accompanied by his wife and kid. As for the rest?
They get a free lesson in self defense even though they were expecting a peaceful ride to their destination.
Netizens, however, were divided over the brutal treatment dished out at the male passengers.
Those who were supportive of the treatment inquired if they could get the job, while one even added that it would do wonders if applied to the subway in London.
Some people, however, wondered why there should be a female-train in the first place, which garnered quite a number of negative reactions.
Others pointed out that it was a larger problem as there were more males in the train than there were females. Perhaps the train system required more capacity to cater for the huge number of passengers?
Netizen Yogi G, however, claimed that it was not a female train but one coach was for females.
The topic took a turn to Japan where passengers had to be pushed into the train which was filled to the point of bursting with human bodies.
Regardless, the Indian authorities were no short of admirers.
Observing the video, we can only be grateful towards the condition of the public transportation in Malaysia even though public perception towards it has never been the best.
As for the slaps, we can only wonder if its application could be accepted in Malaysia. Likely, there would be lawsuits, and not a few. — Focus Malaysia
