Damansara MP Tony Pua said ex-prime minister Najib Abdul Razak should not flatter himself by asking criticisms to be directed at him over the controversy surrounding Foon Yew High School.
This was after Pua called for the leadership of Foon Yew High School to be sacked for welcoming Najib, who has been convicted of abuse of power, criminal breach of trust and money laundering, to its Seri Alam in Johor campus and allowed him to deliver a speech.
"Please don't flatter yourself. I'm not interested in going after you. I've been there, done that.
"Now, I'll leave it to the courts to go after you, who have convicted you of brazen corruption and permanently scarred you as a ‘national embarrassment’. 
"I certainly look forward to you putting on the prison attire and enjoying curry rice for the rest of your life.
"I'm more interested in protecting the moral fibre of our next generation. Our schools need to teach our children that crooks like you must go to jail and cannot be tolerated," Pua said in a statement.
Pua had criticised the board of governors for lacking integrity by welcoming a man convicted of grand corruption but Najib accused the DAP lawmaker of being vengeful and attempting to intimidate.

"Most importantly, they must teach them that we must never succumb to unscrupulous greed and abhor outrageous abuse of power.
"We must never be seen to be chummy and convivial with such shameless crooks, for we will be tainted with the same brush.
"If a crook stole billions of ringgit, and donated a few million to schools to buy legitimacy and popular support, there's no need to be grateful. We are not beggars," he said.
Pua added that education has always been important to the Chinese community and the “rot” must be stopped in schools.
"Let me reiterate that education has always been at the heart of the Chinese community. We must stop the rot in our schools - we must defend our culture, our righteousness, our dignity and our honour," he said.
Najib is appealing his 12-year jail conviction and RM210 million fine at the Federal Court. - Mkini
